ABOUT THIS POSITION

As the Sr Financial Systems Analyst at Aceable, you will be the critical connector between our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Insights (BI) teams. You’ll report to the Director, FP&A and be responsible for translating complex financial planning requirements into technical data pipelines and reporting solutions—driving automation, data integrity, and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a data-savvy finance professional who thrives at the intersection of systems, analytics, and business strategy.

You will own the data integration layer across Power BI, NetSuite ERP, and our financial planning software (e.g., Planful), ensuring that real-time operating metrics and revenue data are aligned and trusted. Your work will directly support our budgeting and forecasting cadence, pacing models, long-term planning, and executive decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the strategic design and enhancement of financial reporting capabilities, tools, and processes across Finance and partner teams to deliver timely, reliable, and actionable business insights
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations between Power BI, NetSuite, and financial planning systems (e.g., Planful) to support automated, cross-functional reporting
  • Map and reconcile revenue, cost allocations, and KPIs across systems and dashboards to ensure timely, accurate, and trusted financial data
  • Partner with BI engineers to translate FP&A requirements into data model specs, ETL workflows, and dashboard logic
  • Build and optimize dashboards in Power BI and Planful to support daily pacing, dynamic forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Automate recurring financial reports and workflows, including budget and forecast refreshes, month-end packages, and department roll-ups
  • Translate business drivers into Planful templates, including scenario modeling, driver-based calculations, and data hierarchies
  • Ensure alignment of actuals, forecasts, and budgets across Power BI, Planful, and NetSuite, enabling a single source of financial truth
  • Lead variance analysis and develop forward-looking projection models to support executive and board-level reporting
  • Document data flows, transformation rules, and key system dependencies for cross-functional clarity and continuity
  • Establish best practices for data governance, including version control, user access, validation checks, and reconciliation protocols

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 7+ years of professional experience in FP&A, financial systems, or business intelligence roles—preferably in a SaaS or dynamic environment
  • Ability to automate data workflows using API integrations, webhooks, or scripting (Python, PowerShell).
  • Direct experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure Synapse) and utilization of BI best practices for large data volumes
  • Hands-on experience implementing or maintaining Power BI data models and dashboards
  • Experience working with Planful (or similar financial planning platform) to build and maintain planning models, driver-based reports, and automated outputs.
  • Experience utilizing AI to build financial analysis and automation
  • Reside in one of the following locations: California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York (excluding Boroughs), North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington.

 BONUS POINTS

  • MBA or CFA
  • Proficiency working with large raw data sets and using BI Tools like PowerBI
