- Extensive manufacturing and production operations management experience.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle (NPI to scaled production) and LEAN manufacturing.
- Proven leadership managing large teams including managers and operators.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience collaborating directly with designers and engineers.
- Ability to manage complex multi-site operations effectively.
- Strong organizational and detail orientation.
Responsibilities
- Manage technician staff to produce multiple technical products through factory acceptance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, design engineering, and supply chain to introduce new products.
- Set daily operation priorities and manage work orders for production floors.
- Lead hiring plans and workforce management for manufacturing facilities.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and document EHS incidents.
- Coach, mentor, and support manufacturing operations Directors and production managers.
- Drive achievement of on-time delivery goals and quality standards across production.
- Provide high-level reports to company leadership.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S.
- Maintain accurate production system transactions and inventory levels.
- Facilitate daily communications with cross-functional teams.
- Build and maintain positive, collaborative team culture and promote skills development.
- Travel to multiple US manufacturing facilities as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, applied science, or related technical field preferred.
