Job Description

As the Manager, Commercial Finance at Vestcom you will play a pivotal role in providing analytical support
to financial processes, drive value to the business and manage risks.


The Manager will partner with the commercial and senior leadership at Vestcom to ensure objectives are
met. The Manager supports and drives the strategic, annual operating plan and forecast processes along
with ad-hoc business projects tied to value modeling (client facing financial models) and margin analysis.


This is a role for a high potential with direct exposure to sales and senior leadership at Vestcom;

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop new reporting and analysis of commercial performance and profitability in addition to supporting current models / analysis
  • Provide accurate and timely information for month, quarter and year end close.
  • For assigned projects; align on the timeline with sales / leadership, complete detailed analysis, identify and present options to the stakeholders
  • Providing financial and analytical support (Profitability, Sales trend analysis) to cross functional teams to support tactical and strategic business decisions
  • Drive and support the Forecasting / AOP processes
  • Participate in the initiatives related to: internal controls, ethics and values, OGSM, culture change

Qualifications

A Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a medium to large size manufacturing company preferably from the
Fortune 500. Experience in a dynamic, multinational finance environment with proven ability to work with
professionals of different cultural backgrounds, professions and levels.

Education

  • Bachelor degree with MBA (preferably) / (CPA/CMA a plus)

Essential

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a straightforward manner
  • Proactive and independent self-starter able to drive projects to completion, on time.
  • Being able to build bridges and create support for improvements
  • Ability to cope with high pressure assignments and used to meeting strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy.
  • Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Workspace incl Google sheets/slides (MS Office Excel)

Preferred

  • Experience in the Retailer and/or CPG industry

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $124,800/year.
The hiring [base salary / wage rate] range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
