Senior Director, Product Design
Skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and leadership skills.

- Expertise in user-centered design and design systems.
- Familiarity with marketing technology or customer engagement products is a plus.
- Experience leveraging AI tools in design processes preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and inspire teams of product designers and design managers to enhance research and design quality.
- Contribute to product vision and long-term strategy in collaboration with VPs of Product Management and Engineering.
- Serve as a key UX leadership team member, driving cross-team initiatives and process improvements.
- Identify and execute on cross-team efforts ensuring consistency across Braze’s product channels.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and User Research to deliver high-quality products.
- Recruit, interview, and hire design talent within the Channels division and across the organization.
- Ensure operational efficiency and accountability for design activities within the division.
- Scale design organization, research operations, and maintain the health of the product design system.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
