About the role:

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual contributor that is willing to go above and beyond to push our software artifacts and processes to the next level. There is much room for everyone to leave one's own footprint and solve challenges around our internal development platform and deployment artifacts, software tests and test infrastructure, monitoring and observation and multi-region setups - to name a few.

What You’ll Be Doing:

•  The team is responsible to build, maintain, test and release C8 distributions for our customers, running C8 self-managed (vs. our saas product)

  • The currently supported artifacts are: Helm Charts (Kubernetes), C8run, Docker Compose, documentation.

• The team is working closely with our Product Management, Quality Assurance, Documentation and all other engineering teams.

• The team is actively resolving support tickets which need engineering expertise (our support team has us covered otherwise).

• The distribution team consists of 1 Senior and 3 mid-level SWE.

What You Bring:

• Ability and/or willingness to use our product

• Strong knowledge in building and maintaining Helm Charts and deploying applications on Kubernetes.

• Ability to create clear technical documentation and effectively communicate with other teams and customers.

• A pragmatic and autonomous approach to programming and problem solving.

• You thrive in taking ownership of the codebase, as well as how you deploy and operate software. You are comfortable with the “you build it, you run it” mindset. 

Nice-to-haves:

• Expertise in running and operating on-prem/self-hosted software, e.g. Docker.

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools for tracking system health.

• Being familiar with the Go programming language

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:

• United States: $131,200.00 to $196,800.00

• Germany: €87,300.00 to €130,900.00

• United Kingdom: £85,000.00 to £127,500.00

• Singapore: S$162,900.00 to S$244,400.00

If you are outside one of these countries, you would be employed by our Preferred Employer Organization (PEO), Remote.
