ABOUT THE JOB:

Cantoni - American Leather by Contempo Designs is seeking a dynamic Trade Sales Representative to join the team at our American Leather Design Center showroom.  This is an exciting opportunity where you will work with the clients of Dallas Market Center offering the finest contemporary furnishings. Our clients include designers, architects, developers, builders, purchasing agents, specifiers and others involved in designing and furnishing interior and exterior spaces. While we highlight several American Leather luxury lines in our showroom, we offer an incredible range of products to suit our clients and their projects.


Showroom hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, weekends by appointment only. 


  RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Client engagement and sales generation.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Cantoni Trade products
  • Ensure our clients experience service that is consistent with the brand promise and company’s standards.
  • Provide client support and resolution in all aspects of the customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed personal and store sales goals.
  • Prospect for new business on a regular basis utilizing company programs and tools.
  • Help customers in a courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested manner.
  • Expand the customer's connection to the Cantoni brand as well as expand the client’s vision through additional items based on assessing customer needs.
  • Impeccable customer service.
  • Feel confident in your design and sales capabilities and feel-good taking ownership!
  • You will gain valuable knowledge and insight of the industry.

Requirements

  

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for design
  • Demonstrated  experience in high-end luxury home furnishings in a retail environment
  • Professional leadership and motivational skills

Strong sales experience, communication and computer skills
