Overview

Provides leadership and oversight in the Research Program within the Division. Provides direct supervision of research personnel and provides oversight for all research related activities within the Division. Acts as research liaison with outside institutions, philanthropic funder, and cooperatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of research personnel within the Division.
• Research Program Development and Processes/Procedures
• Development and management of Neonatology research initiatives/studies involving hospital resources, including protocol design, as well as assuring compliance with applicable Internal Review Board (IRB), Institutional Bio Safety Committee (IBC), IACUC, an
• Research Program Financial Management
• Provides coordination and oversight for collaborative research efforts and Division marketing/communication projects.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree and 3-5 years experience Clinical experience in specialty preferred. Progressive management experience in specialty services preferred.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $42.38/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
