System Test Engineer - Zero Trust Client
Skills
- Hands-on experience with networking configurations on Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies from L3 to L7 (IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, QUIC, HTTP/3).
- Experience with VPN testing, including DNS, packet loss, and throttling scenarios.
- Proficiency in manual end-to-end testing and automation scripting (Python preferred).
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and device network switching behaviors.
- Capability to debug complex network and client issues and produce clear bug reports.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute detailed test strategies for new and existing Zero Trust features.
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce customer issues and verify fixes.
- Identify edge cases and work with product teams to validate solutions.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot network-related features across multiple platforms.
- Create and maintain manual test suites and author automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Manage physical and virtual test environments and report product quality status.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
