What Your Day Will Look Like:
As a construction contracts support specialist, you’ll oversee document control systems and ensure the accuracy of various project data tracking and contract documents related to excavations, drainage facilities, road surfaces, and structures. Working closely with both project office and field staff, you’ll manage the creation, assembly, and storage of critical documents, including conformed record drawings and contract change instruments. You’ll collaborate with field staff to maintain a thorough understanding of project progress, installed quantities, cost variations, evolving procedures, and overall project information flow. The construction contracts support specialist reports to the project administrator.
What You'll Do:
• Assemble the monthly progress payments and all supporting information per project procedure.• Guide the project staff in preparation of all documentation for final estimate submission throughout the construction project duration.• Exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to office and document control aspects of the project.• Develop and maintain good communication with members of the contract team such as the client partners, contractors, and other stakeholders.What You'll Need:
• HS Diploma or equivalent.• Minimum one year of construction inspection experience.• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.• Obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualifications tests for the position in specified time frames.• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.• This field job primarily operates in outdoor work environments that may include exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.• While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee may include frequent talking, hearing, standing, moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, balancing, coordination, and occasional sitting or operating a company vehicle.
