About the role:
This role supports corporate tax operations by preparing tax provisions and reconciliations in line with ASC 740, and assisting with U.S. international tax filings. Responsibilities also include journal entries, coordinating with finance teams and helping automate tax processes.
In this role you will:
- Responsible for the administration of certain tax software and tax provision calendar
- Assist in the preparation of tax provision and data for tax footnotes in accordance with ASC740
- Prepare tax account reconciliations
- Prepare interim tax provision and effective tax rate workbooks
- Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries
- Assist in gathering and organizing documentation requested by external/internal parties.
- Coordinate with FP&A teams to gather quarterly data required by tax.
- Assist in preparation of tax returns for US International filings (Forms 5471 and others as required) for GMF international entities
- Prepare US international inclusion workbooks
- Coordinate agendas for quarterly/monthly calls
- Assist in the automation of processes where possible
