Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn) and SQL including window functions and performance tuning.
- Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests and experimentation frameworks.
- Expertise in statistical inference, causal modeling, uplift modeling, and marketing attribution models.
- Proven experience with time-series forecasting and budget allocation models.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Data visualization skills using Looker or similar BI tools with strong storytelling and presentation abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data science projects including feature engineering, model development, validation, and deployment.
- Define and promote technical best practices and scalable data science processes.
- Drive R&D initiatives by exploring novel modeling methods and prototyping solutions.
- Build and monitor key marketing KPIs; develop dashboards and present insights to leadership.
- Apply advanced techniques such as A/B testing, causal inference, uplift modeling, clustering, and forecasting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize analytics opportunities.
- Develop forecasting and ROI models for budget optimization and roadmap prioritization.
- Collaborate with data engineering to ensure robust data infrastructure and quality monitoring.
- Mentor junior data scientists and lead knowledge-sharing and onboarding activities.
Education
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
