Position Overview:
Join an acute care hospital team in Seattle as a Medical Surgical RN delivering patient-focused, whole-person care. You will collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes across the care continuum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Develop/update care plans to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions
- Advocate for patient autonomy, dignity, and holistic care
- Foster learning environments for patients/families/staff
- Integrate evidence-based practices into nursing care
- Coordinate teams and delegate tasks effectively

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduation from accredited nursing program
- Licensure:
- Active Washington RN License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- NRP Certification (AAP)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year medical-surgical nursing (excludes clinicals/residency)
- Technical Skills: Clinical assessment, care planning, patient evaluation, safety protocols
- Soft Skills: Critical thinking, patient advocacy, team collaboration, leadership, effective communication
- Preferred: National Certification in specialty area
