We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who will play a key role in leading the successful planning, execution, and completion of the water and wastewater treatment projects. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience leading large-scale infrastructure projects in the heavy civil industry, preferably in the water and wastewater treatment sector.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage construction projects through all phases including pre-job, mobilization, construction, and closeout.
• Ensure consistent adherence to contract terms, plans, and specifications.
• Manage contracts, subcontractors, and vendors to job deliverables and schedules.
• Understand client drivers and offer value engineering proposals for functionality, cost, and schedule benefit.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, permits, contracts, and change orders.
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders and provide regular updates.
• Own project financial performance and ensure adherence to budget constraints and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders.
• Enforce adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field of study.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certifications are preferred.
• 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience, preferably in water treatment or wastewater construction.
• Proven success in managing projects exceeding $10M in scope.
• Ability to create and manage comprehensive project schedules using plans and input from subcontractors.
• Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, cost estimation, and financial analysis, with a focus on maximizing profitability.
• The ability to travel out of town to job sites.

Location:

Remote, preferably in the state of Texas, within close proximity of a major airport.

Travel to jobsites 6-8 days per month is required.

Salary range*: $110-$155k annually

*The provided base salary range is used nationally. The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
