The Cliffs Notes
The Talent Business Partner at Kinective is a strategic, people-focused advisor responsible for aligning business objectives with people strategies across our growing fintech organization. In this role, you’ll work closely with leaders and teams to enhance organizational effectiveness, support performance and development, and drive a high-performing, inclusive culture.


You will serve as a trusted partner to department leaders—providing expert guidance in employee relations, talent planning, leadership coaching, change management, and HR program implementation. Leveraging data and insights, you'll help shape people strategies that fuel our mission to connect and modernize the financial services industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about delivering a world-class employee experience.



What you’ll own:

Strategic Partnership

  • Partner with leaders to align people strategy with business goals, supporting growth, structure, and team success.
  • Translate business needs into scalable people initiatives that drive engagement and performance.

Organizational Development & Change

  • Identify gaps and design people-first solutions to improve how we work and collaborate.
  • Lead teams through organizational changes and process shifts, helping drive clarity, accountability, and adaptability.

Employee Relations & Coaching

  • Provide empathetic, practical support on performance, conflict, and team dynamics.
  • Conduct fair and timely employee investigations, when necessary, and coach leaders to strengthen their impact and team health.

People Programs & Policy

  • Support performance, promotion, and compensation processes with fairness and consistency.
  • Help teams understand and apply policies in a way that aligns with our values.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships across departments to stay in tune with people needs.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to manage risk, ensure compliance, and enhance the employee experience.

Requirements

 

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience—ideally in fintech, SaaS, or fast-moving, high-growth environments where things don’t slow down.
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, supporting leaders and teams through change, growth, and everything in between.
  • HR certifications like PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP are a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws and employee relations, with a practical, people-first approach to compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with core HR programs like performance management, coaching, organizational development, and compensation planning.
  • Comfortable working with data and tools—familiar with systems like Paylocity, ADP, or Workday, and can use Excel or Power BI to back insights with numbers.
  • Proven ability to handle ambiguity, juggle multiple priorities, and lead projects with focus and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.

The Team In this role, you would be a part of the Talent Team and reporting to our Manager, Talent.


Office Expectation This role follows a hybrid schedule, with an expectation of being in the office three days per week. Fridays are remote, and our standard working hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
