Echo Sonographer - Pediatric (Hospital, Clinic and Outreach)

Overview

Every image tells a story. Help us make it one of hope.

Do you have a passion for echo sonography, and serving pediatric patients?  If so, apply these skills to our Echo Sonographer - Pediatric position serving patients in a variety of settings including: Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center Campus, clinics or at outreach events. This position is ideally geared to someone who is interested in providing pediatric patient care in a variety of settings, nimble to adjust and adapt to different situations and who is agile in using a variety of equipment.

Specifically, this position will work approximately 50% of the time in the hospital, and 50% of the time providing outpatient clinic care, which also includes traveling to scheduled outreach events, both locally in the Portland/Vancouver metro area and longer distance outreach within the state.  Needless to say, this position requires a unique candidate with a passion for pediatrics.  Is that person you?

While not required, a candidate with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record is preferred for this position.  Prior pediatric echo sonography experience and familiarity with providing care for patients with congenital heart disease is also strongly preferred.

At Legacy Health, every ultrasound is more than just an image — it’s a moment of care that can bring answers, ease anxiety, and guide critical decisions. As a Echo Sonographer, your compassion and technical expertise will make a difference in patients’ lives, supporting our mission of making life better for others.

While the greatest need is in pediatric cardiac imaging, opportunities to also cross-cover and provide adult echo sonography are available depending on your skills, expereince and site needs.
