- Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems
- Experience with microcontrollers such as TI, NXP, ARM
- Competence in bringing up new development kits using BSP, build systems, flashing via JTAG/CAN/Ethernet
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis at system and software levels
- Effective communication across functional teams
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software for autonomous vehicles
- Lead prototype and proof of concept development for new hardware and computation modules
- Collaborate across teams including Autonomy, Software, Safety, and Vehicle Integration
- Implement embedded software, drivers, and firmware in C from design specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a first escalation point
- Drive embedded systems through design, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
