The Education Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for planning and implementing youth and student outreach in STEM, leadership, and resiliency. The position will work with Environmental Institute staff and community stakeholders to develop and implement Indigenous culturally inclusive education programming that meets grant objectives and goals.
This is a grant funded position.
Salary Range: $23.63 - $25.29 hourly; $49,339 - $52,806 annually
Minimum Qualifications
Six months of experience in education and applicable professional work (Associate degree = 6 months exp)
Must possess exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Experience working with students or others with diverse backgrounds
Experience working with Indigenous youth camps
Proficient computer skills
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass a full background check
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor’s degree of Education, Environmental Education, American Indian Studies or applicable field
Experience working with grants
Experience working with Fond du Lac Reservation youth and other regional Indigenous youth
Experience with Internal Review Board reporting
Experience organizing and implementing Indigenous youth programs and camps
Other Requirements
Work Shift (Hours / Days of work) Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
