Position Details
- Grade Levels Needed:
K-8 (assignments will be based on best fit for the candidate) - Service Model:
Traditional push-in and pull-out support within the school day - Caseload:
- 16–21 students per FTE (based on how many positions are filled)
- Ideal caseload: 15–18 students
- Schedule:
Full-time, in-person during regular school hours - Start Date:
Staff return: September 2, 2025 | Students begin: September 3, 2025
Requirements
- Valid New York teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience with IEP development, compliance, and service delivery
- Ability to provide both academic and behavioral supports
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must be available to work onsite in Yonkers, NY
