QA Contractor

Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Carry out manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure optimal performance.
- Document and report testing results, defects, and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to address identified issues and verify fixes.
- Participate in QA meetings to discuss project progress, testing strategies, and overall quality concerns.
- Stay updated on testing methodologies and best practices to continuously enhance QA processes.
- Provide support in the creation and maintenance of testing documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing, with familiarity in both manual and automated testing techniques.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with testing tools and defect tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Selenium).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to QA.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a contract role.
