Responsibilities
- Lead investigations of returned field devices including flexible endoscopes, disposable, and capital equipment.
- Conduct methodical root cause analysis projects and document outcomes in detailed reports and presentations.
- Review engineering drawings to assess impact on parts and suggest design improvements.
- Design test methods and fixtures to facilitate studies on returned devices.
- Mentor less experienced engineers in root cause analysis processes.
- Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure consistent, high-quality parts and assemblies.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
