Skills
- 5+ years experience building data platforms for enterprise SaaS applications
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala or Typescript; SQL is a plus
- Experience with modern data processing frameworks and distributed systems
- Knowledge of data catalog and metadata management systems
- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements
- Experience with data quality monitoring and management
- Familiarity with enterprise data integration patterns
- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB
Responsibilities
- Design scalable data integration pipelines connecting Notion to enterprise environments with strict privacy standards
- Build and maintain metadata management and data catalog systems for enterprise data governance
- Implement robust data quality monitoring systems ensuring reliability of data assets
- Develop data lifecycle frameworks meeting enterprise retention policies and compliance
- Support Enterprise Key Management (EKM) integration and collaborate with the Security team
- Enable data residency controls for global enterprise customers
- Create audit trail systems for enterprise compliance requirements
- Optimize performance for large-scale enterprise data operations servicing 20k+ users
- Support AI and knowledge management infrastructure for enterprise use cases
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
