The Workout API team plays a key role in delivering Peloton’s end-to-end workout experience, from the moment a workout begins to when it ends. We’re focused on building reliable, scalable systems that support a seamless fitness journey for millions of members around the world.
We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer who’s passionate about designing and running high-scale, distributed systems. In this role, you’ll develop the infrastructure and services behind critical member experiences. You’ll work on systems that require thoughtful architecture, high availability, and strong performance by solving challenges around scale, event-driven design, observability, and data modeling.
You’ll contribute to both feature development and the underlying technical foundation that helps our teams move quickly and confidently.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Our base salary is just one component of Peloton’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.
