Skills
- Strong expertise in core Java, data structures, concurrency, and modern Java features.
- Proven technical leadership in data and enterprise architecture projects.
- Experience with search and analytics platforms such as Elasticsearch, Splunk SPL, Datadog, etc.
- Knowledge of data storage technologies like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Solr.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-organizational collaboration.
- Ability to work autonomously managing projects end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Define, lead, and contribute to the development of analytics enhancements in Elasticsearch.
- Research and implement new features, data structures, and algorithms to improve ES|QL capabilities.
- Work closely with product teams and partners to build a strategic long-term technical vision.
- Provide technical direction for user interfaces, language syntax, and compute infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers and provide expert guidance on Elasticsearch analytics systems.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams across different user experience and solutions groups.
- Develop idiomatic, efficient, and scalable Java software for Elasticsearch.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is expected.
