Skills
- Proficient in Java and JVM-based development
- Experienced with Infrastructure as Code tooling
- Comprehensive understanding of AWS or similar cloud deployment
- Skilled in relational, non-relational, and key-value database systems
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and frontend technologies like Angular or React
- Familiarity with key management systems
- Knowledge of at least one JVM language such as Grails, Groovy, Kotlin, or Clojure
Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of software development from inception to deployment
- Enhance visibility of critical applications and system processes
- Evolve the Rocket toolkit by identifying and recommending optimal tools
- Design and implement A/B tests to continuously improve user experience
- Refactor and improve existing code to increase testability and resilience
- Deploy daily to highly available production applications
- Maintain empathy for user impact and prioritize rapid response to issues
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
