Job Summary

Stone Brewing Hospitality is seeking a creative, driven, and hospitality-savvy Marketing Specialist to lead marketing efforts for our Hospitality division. This includes our renowned Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens locations in Escondido and Liberty Station, as well as our Tap Rooms in Oceanside, Pasadena, Kettner, and Richmond, VA. This role is distinct from the national brewery marketing team and is focused exclusively on driving sales, awareness, and foot traffic across our hospitality locations and company stores (merchandise and on-site beer sales).


This is a high impact role, with autonomy and resources to make decisions independently with a strong understanding of hospitality, events, and marketing, especially in the food & beverage and craft beer space. The Marketing Specialist will also partner with the national Marketing team to ensure alignment with the overall Stone brand strategy.


Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to grow traffic, sales, and brand awareness across all Stone Brewing hospitality locations
  • Collaborate closely with location General Managers, hospitality leadership, brand designers, and brewery teams to align campaigns with operational and brand goals
  • Lead location-specific and hospitality-wide marketing plans, including seasonal promotions, event marketing, merchandise campaigns, and new product launches
  • Manage location-level social media accounts in collaboration with central content teams; drive engaging and relevant content that reflects each location's identity
  • Coordinate and execute traditional marketing channels (email, print, out-of-home, partnerships) as needed to support business goals
  • Serve as liaison between the hospitality team and cross-functional departments, including brewery marketing, and operations to ensure alignment and seamless communication
  • Monitor performance through clearly defined KPIs (e.g., foot traffic, event ROI, campaign engagement, store sales lift)
  • Represent the Hospitality department in relevant marketing and planning meetings across Stone Brewing
  • Provide on-site support for key events and initiatives when needed
  • Align execution with brand standards, adhering to creative, copy and positioning guideline provided by the brand marketing team
  • Collaborate with cross-functionals teams to ensure consistency of design across various channels and executions 

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, ideally in hospitality, events, or food & beverage
  • Strong understanding of restaurant/taproom operations and event marketing
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in social media platforms, content creation, and community engagement
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, digital, and operations teams
  • Passion for craft beer and Stone Brewing’s culture a plus
  • Portfolio of work that showcases strong conceptual thinking, typography, layout, and design skills
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices
  • Proven experience managing and maintaining brand visual identity across multiple platforms and campaigns
  • Understanding of advertising and marketing principles

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

  • Pay Range: $75,000-$85,000
  • Management Bonus Plan: Annual Target of 5% of Annualized Salary
