Skills
- Strong expertise in machine design and motion system implementation
- Proficiency with PLC programming, particularly Beckhoff TwinCAT structured text
- Experience with electrical schematic design and safety system implementation
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP
- Familiarity with CAD tools (preferably Siemens NX) and product lifecycle management
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical industrial systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage factory automation projects from ideation through operational hand-off
- Architect, write, and debug maintainable PLC code for high-volume manufacturing applications
- Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant safety systems for robotic and manufacturing equipment
- Create user-friendly HMI screens for complex machinery operation and troubleshooting
- Design electrical systems compliant with NEC, NFPA, and UL508A regulations
- Manage project schedules and budgets, motivating teams to achieve objectives
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
