Skills
- Proficiency in failure analysis and hardware development processes
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Knowledge of environmental testing methods including HALT/HASS and vibration testing
- Strong understanding of electronics reliability and manufacturing failure modes
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python and C/C++
- Root cause analysis and quality control methodology expertise
Responsibilities
- Design and implement reliability testing solutions for ground antenna electronics and payloads
- Analyze failures and identify root causes to implement corrective actions
- Select COTS hardware or design custom PCBAs for testing signal integrity under flight-like conditions
- Support hardware through qualification, production ramp-up, and rollout phases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including mechanical, thermal, software, and supply chain
- Conduct bench testing to replicate and address hardware anomaly failures
- Drive improvements by developing physical and digital tools for data analysis from lab and field
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field
