As Senior Manager of Storewide Strategy, you will be responsible for driving marketing strategy and innovation that supports Target’s enterprise and Retail Brand Experience goals. You will ideate and lead strategic projects that serve Target's future guest. You will partner with agency and enterprise teams to define what’s next for the Target in-store experience, and you will collaborate with partners across Retail Brand Experience to ensure these strategies effectively influence and support quarter and category-specific in-store marketing.
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for independently driving forward multiple complex, ambiguous, and cross-functional bodies of work at one time. You will develop briefs that synthesize insights, inspire forward-looking thinking, and articulate clear, actionable deliverables for your creative partners. You will also build cross-functional relationships – inclusive of Properties, SPT, Store Operations, Enterprise Insights, Loyalty, and Marketing & Digital teams – and you will use these relationships to bring strategic initiatives to life.
Through a role on the Storewide Strategy team, you will evolve processes, partnership models, and storewide ideas to become even better than they are today. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for guest experience innovation who is unwilling to settle for “good enough”. You will constantly push thinking and act as a continuous problem solver, ideating in an iterative and nimble manner.

About You:
Bachelor's degree and / or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in Marketing or Strategy function. Relevant retail innovation, store experience, and/or visual merchandising experience is a plus
Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and influence cross-functional teams to move work forward
Self-starter who can prioritize workload. Proven ability to drive forward multiple complex, high-visibility projects concurrently
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, think critically, and communicate effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented, progress over perfection mindset
Excellent communication skills. Comfort leading discussion with senior-level marketing and enterprise leaders
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead work without a defined approach
Curiosity around retail innovation and staying current with culture
Strong understanding of both Enterprise and Marketing + Digital strategies
Ability to travel when needed
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
