Role Overview

The CDO will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s technology vision, leading 

engineering and infrastructure teams, and ensuring the scalability, security, and compliance of our 

embedded banking platform. This executive will play a critical role in aligning technology with 

business strategy, driving innovation, and maintaining a robust regulatory posture.

Key Responsibilities

•  Define and evolve the technology roadmap for our embedded banking and fintech products.

•  Lead architecture, engineering, DevOps, and cybersecurity functions.

•  Build and scale secure, compliant, API-first infrastructure for banking-as-a-service.

•  Partner with banks, middleware providers, and compliance vendors to ensure seamless 

integrations.

•  Oversee system resilience, uptime, and audit-readiness across all environments.

•  Hire, mentor, and retain top-tier technical talent.

•  Champion agile development, DevSecOps, and continuous delivery practices.

•  Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, FFIEC).

•  Collaborate with product, compliance, and risk teams to deliver innovative, compliant 

solutions.

Qualifications

•  Proven experience as CDO or senior technology leader in fintech, embedded banking, or financial 

services.

•  Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), microservices, and secure system design.

•  Strong understanding of banking integrations (ACH, RTP, card rails), KYC/AML, and fraud 

detection.

•  Demonstrated success scaling platforms and teams in high-growth environments.

•  Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to financial services.

•  Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
