Job Summary

The Tech Lead plays a pivotal role in architecting and delivering high-quality full-stack solutions across diverse digital environments. This position requires deep expertise in back-end frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and engineering best practices to lead the development of scalable, production-ready experiences. The ideal candidate brings over a decade of hands-on development experience, a passion for mentoring teams, and a strong point of view on modern technologies and platforms. This role is both technical and client-facing, requiring clear communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams toward successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of full-stack solutions across a wide range of digital experiences and environments.

• Serve as a technical authority and coach for engineering teams, setting quality standards and ensuring best practices in code, documentation, testing, and automation.

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.

• Collaborate cross-functionally in a multidisciplinary team to maintain project health, team morale, and successful delivery.

• Provide informed technical direction on platforms, frameworks, and styling strategies to drive innovation and elevate our digital presence.

• Ensure successful delivery of fully functional, scalable, and maintainable production-ready solutions.

• Advocate for cloud-based architecture and deployment strategies, leveraging platforms like AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.

• Contribute to and enforce internal standards for development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and team knowledge sharing.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions clearly and confidently to both internal teams and clients.

• Demonstrated ability to set and manage expectations, ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction.

• A collaborative mindset with a balance of humility and confidence—comfortable working within cross-functional teams and mentoring others.

• Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments, with a growth-oriented approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Strong expertise in a modern front-end framework (React preferred, Vue or Angular acceptable).

• Familiarity with Django/Python ecosystem.

• Experience deploying & managing applications on at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean).

• Team leadership & mentoring skills — fostering collaboration, maintaining team health.

• Familiarity with Wagtail is highly desirable.
