Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer supports infrastructure setup, environment configuration, deployment pipelines, and caching systems. Although the client may own CI/CD implementation, this role ensures deployment readiness, observability, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain dev/staging environments and deployment scaffolding.

• Configure Redis/CDN for fast Media Kit access and cache busting workflows.

• Ensure observability via logs, metrics, and alerts

• Support safe and repeatable deployments for both frontend and backend.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Proficient in CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

• Experience with containerization using Docker

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Experience with Redis and CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare) for caching and content delivery

• Familiarity with staging-to-production pipelines and rollback strategies

• Ability to set up and manage development and staging environments

• Skilled in implementing observability tooling: logs, metrics, and alerts (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch)

• Strong collaboration and communication skills in remote team environments
