Are you a Human Resources Professional seeking an exciting new career opportunity? Look no further! Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is searching for an Director of HR to join the Corporate Team!  

 

What Will You Do in This Role?

As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for appropriately assisting and advising communities and operations on employee relations, terminations, higher level employment/litigious situations. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, investigations, and cost containment/turnover strategies while meeting project/department/company goals. The position will focus on proactively developing, updating, and implementing policies, procedures, and practices related to timely onboarding, employment, and terminations. This position frequently collaborates with RDs/RVPs, VP of HR, and at times with legal teams and to achieve optimal outcomes.

 

Do You Have What It Takes?

  • A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience required
  • PHR or SPRH certification preferred
  • A minimum of five years of experience with multi-state employment law, EEOC responses, preferably in the healthcare field
  • Must possess a strong understanding of Title VII laws and regulations
  • Experience in investigations and litigation required
  • Must possess analytical skills to identify trends and interpret data
  • Knowledge of risk management principles required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail required
  • Strong work ethic and team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
