Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy PLUS two (2) years of experience in Occupational Therapy OR Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) by the date of hire
Current Arkansas Occupational Therapy License or eligible to obtain license by the date of hire
Intermediate computer skills (MS Office preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
Additional Information:
Employees in this role must be fitted for, capable of donning, and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment to include N95 masks, Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) or Controlled Air Purifying Respirators (CAPR).
Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive examination of patients using appropriate tests/measures, completes the evaluation, and formulates an individualized plan of care.
Provides evidence-based quality patient treatment and education, and monitors patients for physiological status during sessions.
Completes accurate and thorough documentation promptly following regulatory policies.
Submits accurate and complete charges and daily summary sheets.
Consistently meets departmental productivity target.
Responsive to needs/requests outside of direct patient care. May include serving as a Clinical Instructor, providing presentations, serving on committees/teams, performing program development/projects, developing educational materials, providing education to coworker after attending continuing edcuation that was supported by travel or educational leave, etc.
Adheres to UAMS/Department policy for attendance; reports for all scheduled shifts on time and completes shift duties.
Other duties as assigned.
