As an Azure Principal Engineer I – Data Governance, you will play a crucial role in supporting our hybrid compute environment with a strong emphasis on Data Governance. You will be responsible for providing support, implementation, and design services for Azure and banking applications, delivering on data governance policies and practices integrated into all aspects of the solution. Your role will design and implement new project scope as well as resolving and completing assigned cases and change requests, with a focus on maintaining data integrity and compliance. Your role is an escalation point for support issues, particularly those related to data governance. You will apply new solutions through research and collaboration within the team and with other IT teams. In this role, you will work closely with various teams, including data analysts, data engineers, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders. You will engage with project and business sponsors to refine requirements and objectives of targeted solutions, ensuring that data governance Control requirements are met. You will facilitate dialogue and decisions, ensuring effective collaboration with teams both within and outside your domain. By demonstrating technical competence, initiative, creativity, learning, sharing, and teamwork, you will contribute to the team's capabilities while mentoring junior engineers to develop their technical and collaborative skills. Your collaborative efforts will be essential in designing, building, and implementing critical components of the enterprise platform, ensuring that data governance is a fundamental aspect of all solutions.What you'll need:
