Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive guidance curriculum to individuals and groups
- Engage students in academic and career planning assessments and assist in developing success plans
- Respond to individual and group counseling needs with appropriate programming
- Review and maintain student transcripts and inform credit award procedures
- Create and maintain student graduation and career plans
- Provide career readiness curriculum and coordinate career/graduate fairs and special events
- Deliver Life Skills curriculum
- Create and maintain Student 504 plans
- Analyze student data to inform academic programming and interventions
- Travel to support in-person state testing and student events as required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid Georgia School Counselor license
