Staff Site Reliability Engineer
Skills
- 8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering with production system operational experience.
- Deep hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure preferred).
- Strong Kubernetes production experience including cluster operation and Helm/operator usage.
- Proficiency with Terraform and CI/CD automation tools.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Programming and scripting skills in languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience managing large-scale incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across multiple systems and cloud environments, driving architecture and reliability improvements.
- Lead infrastructure initiatives including Kubernetes platform expansion and modernization of legacy systems.
- Define and enforce reliability standards using SLIs/SLOs, observability tooling, and incident response frameworks.
- Mentor and guide other SRE engineers through technical sessions, code reviews, and design discussions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and cloud teams to align on reliability and delivery goals.
- Lead root cause analysis and implementation of systemic fixes for cross-platform issues.
- Promote automation-first practices using Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting.
- Influence cross-functional technical roadmaps focusing on innovation and scalability.
- Participate in global on-call rotations, providing senior-level incident response.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
