Responsibilities
- Support software design engineers in development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of semiconductor equipment software
- Triage mechanical, electrical, and software bugs effectively
- Manage escalation calls with field support engineers and customers locally
- Collaborate with QA and support teams to replicate and document bugs for regression
- Work with customers to write specifications, fix bugs, and develop small feature enhancements
- Author, revise, and review system specifications, software designs, test plans, and documentation
- Investigate and troubleshoot internal and external issues, providing analysis and solutions
- Participate in system design teams and represent customer priorities
- Assist customers with tool upgrades and software qualification
Education
- Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent preferred
