Why This Role is Exciting

Join a fast-moving team focused on delivering AI-first automation solutions that transform audit, risk, and compliance workflows. As a Staff Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the roadmap, enabling a high-performing, rapid-iteration team, and delivering innovative features that solve complex customer challenges.

This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, automation, and enterprise software, collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers, data specialists, and subject matter experts. You'll drive iterative development cycles, prioritize impactful solutions, and lead the transformation of our customers’ audit practice via automation.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the end-to-end success of AuditBoard’s Audit products, including go-to-market activities and customer success.

  • Work closely with marketing and sales to collaborate on strategy, pricing, marketing collateral, demo flows, and more to ensure revenue goals are met.

  • Shape and refine the roadmap for AI and automation-first Audit solutions, ensuring alignment with the goal of transforming the internal audit and SOX industry.

  • Enable a rapid-iteration AI team—comprising machine learning engineers, software engineers, data annotation specialists, prompt engineers, and subject matter experts—by setting clear goals, prioritizing tasks, and driving rapid prototyping cycles.

  • Work directly with a highly engaged customer base, as well as sales engineering, customer success, and other product managers, to gather insights, validate features, and ensure solutions address real user needs.

  • Translate complex workflows and customer pain points into actionable product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

  • Monitor key performance metrics to evaluate success, iterate rapidly based on feedback and data, and maximize the impact of Audit features.

  • Act as a champion for AI-first innovation, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends and leverages emerging technologies effectively.

  • Communicate progress and priorities clearly across stakeholders to maintain alignment and momentum.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in product management, ideally focused on AI-driven or automation-first solutions in enterprise SaaS.

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, is a strong plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to enable rapid-iteration teams, driving collaboration across machine learning engineers, software engineers, data annotation specialists, prompt engineers, and subject matter experts.

  • Skilled in rapid prototyping and iterative development, with a focus on delivering high-value, customer-centric features quickly.

  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in defining, measuring, and iterating on key performance metrics.

  • Ability to translate complex workflows and customer pain points into actionable product requirements aligned with business goals.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to align stakeholders and maintain momentum.

  • Bonus: Professional experience / domain expertise in audit or GRC.

Our Company Values
