The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. On our team of experienced professionals, you’ll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help support and manage a Cloud Enterprise DoD Capability.

You’ll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to work within a DevOps framework to create, manage container apps, and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal AWS, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients’ problems, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have:  

• 10+ years of experience leading large-scale Cloud projects

• Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks

• Experience leading large technical teams

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Information Technology field

• Cloud Service Provider Certification

• Cloud Security Professional Certification

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
