Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Product Lead with a passion for innovation to shape and deliver a world-class investor portal experience. As a member of the technology innovation team at Blackstone, you will work alongside a group of talented individuals in a dynamic, team-oriented environment to dream up and create the next generation of solutions for our portal and scale its impact. You’ll be the voice of Blackstone’s internal and external investors—as well as our business teams—and will make strategic, high-value product decisions.
We are looking for a Product Lead with a proven track record of success and a deep understanding of investor needs across the private equity lifecycle. The successful candidate will enhance their expertise in the existing platform and lead the effort to reimagine both the employee and LP portals with a focus on efficiency, modernization, and a seamless and compelling user experience. This role will collaborate closely with the business to uncover opportunities and shape priorities, tying solutions closely together with Institutional Client Solutions and CRM initiatives.
Solutions in the investor portal space will include custom web development, data analysis, process refinement, API development, and integrating with external service providers to create a modern and innovative environment for our investors and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Thoroughly understand user motivations, market opportunities, and competition through research and design exploration
Set and socialize a strategy and vision for the next generation of investor and employee portals and digital experiences at Blackstone; design, refine, maintain, and build a world-class roadmap
Integrate with fund marketers and other key business groups to better anticipate needs; identify opportunities to implement thoughtful, comprehensive, and high-impact solutions
Continuously move our offerings forward by researching new and emerging technologies; rigorously test and prove out value
Discuss, manage, and present workflow and process analysis, product roadmaps, and decisions effectively to varied audiences
Organize and coordinate project tasks and workstreams, including timelines and status updates
Work seamlessly with the engineering team and design the most efficient solution based on requirements, leveraging the concept of minimum viable product, with a focus on iterative delivery
Facilitate user acceptance testing and end user training
Lead a team of product owners, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure alignment with strategic goals
Leverage user adoption analytics to measure successes and understand missed opportunities
Balance the needs of a broad spectrum of stakeholders, prioritizing initiatives to meet strategic objectives
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience on the design, implementation, and delivery of technology products
Proven experience in developing customer-facing digital products that cater to both internal and external users, business partners, and administrators
Strong understanding of financial processes and financial reporting
Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams
Detail-oriented and data-driven approach to product management
Excellent stakeholder management skills; builds strong business relationships and drive consensus
Strong soft skills, including great communication skills (written and verbal); drives standards for communication and documentation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience implementing them
Decisive and entrepreneurial spirit in approaching product management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Experience with Jira, Google Analytics, Snowflake, Tableau, and cloud-based architecture

Expected annual base salary range:
$175,000 - $200,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
