SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager
Skills
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and cryptocurrency accounting
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills for data management and reporting
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite
- Analytical and project management proficiency
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements according to U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and XBRL tagging
- Build automated financial dashboards integrating metrics from multiple business divisions
- Coordinate with external auditors on PCAOB audits including blockchain custody and reconciliation procedures
- Write detailed technical accounting memos for new and complex standards
- Monitor and implement new U.S. GAAP accounting pronouncements
- Manage internal and external financial reporting compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support IPO preparation, SOX compliance, CECL modeling, and M&A, debt, equity transactions
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification
