ROLE HIGHLIGHTS - What to expect as a VP of Business Development

As a motivational, entrepreneurial, and strategic leader, the VP of Business Development will focus on organizational growth, business development, and fiscal management, while overseeing standardization of process, and expansion efforts.

In this role, you are responsible for working closely with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with business goals, as well as spearheading the following:

  • Promote profitability, achieving target goals, and ensuring a high level of compliance across the Caring For … Companies by designing, driving, and executing business development initiatives in sync with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and referral partners to improve the success of Company initiatives - and to optimize partnerships
  • Steward the CRM, ensuring it is being used to peak efficiency and optimizing all features, capabilities, trainings, and reports
  • Design business development department, working closely with stakeholders to set the strategy and goals for the department, in alignment with organizational wide initiatives, while implementing structure, personnel, and systems to promote efficiency and innovation that generate higher profitability, tighter compliance, and greater efficiencies
  • Mentor business development professionals, creating a high performing, successful team of leaders
  • Ensure all authorized hours of service are scheduled, utilized/fulfilled, and collectable to provide a secure revenue stream
  • Monitor, analyze, motivate, and report on KPIs and the fiscal health of operations, ensuring company-wide profitability, ensuring organized implementation and execution of all KPIs
  • Act as interim Business Development Director whenever needed to provide continuity of services to Clients and Branches

Next Level Professionalism

  • Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information. - and/or -knowledge of best practices for handling PHI as governed by HIPAA

  • Ability to articulate orally and in writing with respect, clarity, and consistency, providing frequent communication and relaying updates regularly
  • Excellent written and oral communication and fluency in English

Tech Savvy

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient with technology, software, and electronic devices

EDUCATION AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Specialized experience with the following:

  • At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience with operations, sales, and/or business development.

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters in business, psychology, or marketing preferred.
