Responsibilities: Provide direct support to college students in financial aid, course registration, internships, and career planning; coach and assess student progress, and develop individualized support plans.
Skills: Strong mentoring, advising, and communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry; ability to work collaboratively and solve problems effectively.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in college advising or student engagement; preferred experience in workforce development.
Location: This position is hybrid, based in Milwaukee, WI, with some required travel to partner sites and college campuses.
Compensation: $48000 / Annually

Your Role as Advising Specialist
The Advising Specialist is responsible for providing support to college students in the areas of financial aid, course registration, internships, career exposure, campus connection, and more via virtual methods as well as in-person. The Advising Specialist position advocates for College Possible's college students communicating to both College Possible and the higher educational institutions as to the needs of the students and resources needed for the students to persist and graduate.
