HR Generalist
Description
The Conrad Company, a Kick@$$ family-owned business is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and payroll data with accuracy and confidentiality
- Process Payroll biweekly
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries
- Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Participate in employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Contribute to HR projects such as engagement surveys, and training programs
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership as needed
- Assist with Unemployment
- Assist with coordinating DOT Physicals and Drug Tests
- Assist with administering STD/LTD and LOA/FMLA
- Assist with Workers Comp administration

Requirements
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to visit sites outside of York, PA.
