Job Summary
The Product Manager – Corvette: Under Car is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the Corvette Under Car product portfolio, including new product development, category strategy, and performance optimization. As the subject matter expert, this role drives growth by leveraging cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Supply Chain. The Product Manager evaluates product performance, recommends enhancements or discontinuations, and ensures alignment with market trends and customer needs. A deep understanding of the Corvette aftermarket and strong analytical skills are essential for success.
Reports To: Director of Product Management
Essential Functions
· Oversee product integrity and pricing for Corvette Under Car categories (e.g., Suspension, Exhaust, Brakes)
· Lead new product initiatives using the Stage Gate NPI process
· Manage product classification, segmentation, and lifecycle from concept to retirement
· Develop strategic annual and 3-year plans based on market analysis and customer insights
· Conduct SWOT analyses and propose actionable strategies
· Coordinate cross-functional projects involving SKU rationalization, forecasting, and pricing reviews
· Analyze competitive landscape and recommend portfolio adjustments
· Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to assess new product opportunities and ROI
· Monitor product performance metrics including sell-through, inventory turns, and profitability
· Serve as a liaison for customer support, technical service, and sales teams
· Communicate business risks and opportunities to leadership with proposed solutions
· Partner with Supply Chain on inventory, quality assurance, and supplier relations
· Compile and share market research to support strategic planning
· Contribute to the development and evaluation of product marketing materials
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Measurements of the Role:
· Product line profitability and velocity
· Success of new product launches vs. revenue targets
· Inventory efficiency (turns, GMROI, dead stock management)
· Accuracy and completeness of product data
Working Conditions:
· Based in Sawyer, MI
· Approximately 25% travel required (e.g., supplier visits, trade shows)
· Work environment includes office, warehouse/shop, and occasional outdoor duties
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended hours at a computer

· Knowledge of automotive restoration and Corvette-specific parts preferred
· Experience in B2C product management is a plus

The successful candidate’s qualifications will include:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required
· Minimum 2 years in the automotive industry preferred; passion for Corvettes is a plus
· 3+ years of experience managing multi-product portfolios
· Strong analytical mindset with financial acumen
· Familiarity with Corvette model history (C1–C8) preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
