- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction and quality management
- Expertise in construction Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Proficiency reading and interpreting mechanical and MEP plans, specifications, and contracts
- Ability to manage non-conformance and reporting programs including root cause analysis
- Technical knowledge of materials, construction concepts, and mechanical systems
- Experience with high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems, HVAC, control systems, and commissioning
- Advanced communication, organizational, and project management skills
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
- Review and verify material submittals and ensure delivered materials match approvals
- Manage submittals, RFI logs, maintenance logs, and other project documentation
- Conduct internal quality audits, site inspections, and Quality Management System (QMS) audits
- Coordinate completion of punch lists with general contractors and subcontractors
- Provide technical support and client representation on project quality issues
- Develop and implement audit and testing plans for quality inspections
- Maintain documentation such as quality manuals, checklists, forms, and project closeout documents
- Investigate and address non-conformance issues promptly
- Collaborate with third-party firms and public utility suppliers as needed
- Oversee commissioning processes and MEP project closeout activities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
