Director, Integrated Media Strategy & Planning, Retail

DEPT® is a pioneering technology and marketing services company focused on integrated digital experiences. They seek a Director of Integrated Media Strategy & Planning with extensive leadership experience in retail media strategy to join their global team. This role requires strong collaboration skills across marketing, data, and creative teams to drive client growth through omnichannel media planning.

Skills

  • Expertise in full-funnel, data-driven media strategy and planning across digital and programmatic channels.
  • Strong knowledge of retail media and ecommerce integration in omnichannel campaigns.
  • Proficiency with media research and planning tools such as ComScore, MRI, GWI, Kantar, Pathmatics.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret first-party data to inform strategic media opportunities.
  • Experience managing multi-agency and stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

  • Elevate client ambitions by delivering growth-oriented media strategy solutions.
  • Develop and steer integrated media strategies across consumer, commerce, and content.
  • Lead and expand the Integrated Planning and Strategy practice within DEPT.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, data science, and activation.
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to new business development.
  • Design communication plans incorporating KPIs, audience targeting, media mix, and measurement.
  • Monitor marketing trends, technology, and competitor activities relevant to media planning.
  • Provide thought leadership in retail media, including Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
