Talent Acquisition Partner

Element Science, Inc. is a medical device and digital health company focused on developing solutions at the intersection of clinical-grade wearables, machine learning algorithms, and lifesaving therapies in order to address leading causes of death and hospitalization in patients with heart disease, primarily as they transition from the hospital-to-home. By putting the needs of patients and physicians first, our personalized digital devices, which are designed for function, comfort, and ease-of-use, aim to redefine the paradigm of care for these patients.  Our first product, a wearable patch defibrillator, is initially targeted at treating the more than 500,000 patients in the US with an elevated temporary risk of potentially experiencing a lethal heart rhythm.  Headquartered in San Francisco, our funders include Third Rock Ventures, Google Ventures, Deerfield Healthcare, Qiming Venture Partners USA, Cormorant Asset Management, and Invus Opportunities.

TALENT ACQUISITION PARTNER

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

Element Science is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Partner to play a pivotal role in our growth and commercialization phase. As we prepare for commercial launch and scale-up of manufacturing, we’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to help build high-performing teams in Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial Operations and occasionally support critical roles in Engineering, G&A, and Clinical.

This is a full-cycle recruiting role where you’ll work closely with hiring managers across multiple departments, ensuring our approach to hiring is strategic, equitable, and aligned with our mission. You’ll partner with stakeholders to define hiring needs, craft strong processes, and deliver a high-touch candidate experience.

This is a hybrid role based in our Redwood City, CA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial roles, with flexibility to support Engineering, G&A, and Clinical teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to scope roles, set hiring strategies, and drive structured interview processes that lead to great outcomes.
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience thoughtful, timely, and aligned to our core behaviors.
  • Leverage Greenhouse (ATS) and supporting tools to track metrics, optimize workflows, and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Focus on managing the entire candidate journey throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for potential employees by actively coordinating communication, scheduling interviews, providing feedback, and managing logistics, all while aligning with the company's employer branding and recruitment strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers across different departments to understand their hiring needs and provide proactive communication and talent strategies.
  • Partner with People Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the department and/or organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-8 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Experience working in medical device, biotech or health tech companies is a plus.
  • Strong experience supporting roles in Manufacturing, Quality, or Commercial functions; bonus if you’ve recruited for Engineering or Clinical teams.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills; you balance multiple searches while maintaining strong relationships.
  • High emotional intelligence and solutions mindset; you bring structure and empathy to every hiring conversation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Proficiency in Greenhouse or similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) platform.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.

BENEFITS:

Element Science offers a very competitive salary and benefits package including, but not limited to:

  • Stock Options
  • 90% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Company-paid Basic Life Insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan (Traditional and Roth)

  • Paid Holidays
  • FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts)
  • HSA (Health Savings Account)
