Virtual Assistant Bookkeeper
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. The candidate must be proficient in Quickbooks Online and have experience with payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Bookkeeping:
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions, including expenses and income.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data into Quickbooks Online.
Monthly Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly reconciliation of banking accounts and credit cards to maintain accuracy.
- Resolve discrepancies and address any issues promptly.
Tax Filings:
- File Sales Tax and CAT (if applicable) in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Invoicing:
- Generate and send invoices to clients as required, maintaining a systematic and organized invoicing process.
Vendor Communication:
- Communicate with vendors as necessary, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll using various platforms such as Quickbooks Online, Paycor, Paychex, and Quickbooks Desktop.
- Pay liabilities associated with payroll and file payroll returns in accordance with legal requirements.
Client Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing queries, providing financial updates, and seeking clarification when needed.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant Bookkeeper with a track record of accurate and efficient financial management.
Software Proficiency:
- Proficient in Quickbooks Online is a must.
- Familiarity with Paycor, Paychex, and Quickbooks Desktop for payroll processing.
Organizational Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Communication:
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
Attention to Detail:
- High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records.
- Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
- Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
- Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
