Accounts Payable Clerk
Martin Automotive Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Nashville Subaru. The Accounts Payable Clerk maintains accurate records and establishes and maintains the date processing capabilities to accomplish the facilities’ objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable and cash receipt data within the various systems utilized within the Accounting department.
- Monitors payments from customers to ensure they are received when due and according to credit terms.
- Makes collection calls/e-mails as necessary and document collection activities.
- Generates weekly AR aging report
- Vendor maintenance: setup, address changes, phone number updates, payment terms
- Accurately maintain customer balances which include tracking and recording all invoices/ payments/charges.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of reconciliations, Journal entries and account analysis
- Working knowledge of financial statements
- Automotive Experience preferred
